Returning furniture

8/10
So Our logistic group was busy running cleaning time sheet on the market day.
Each of us did our role

Unfortunately I haven't got photo of 10b12
but Luke was in charge of arranging tables in 10B12.
I was in charge of arranging tables back in order for 10b05 (industrial building).

I had to look at this picture..(because i couldn't remember details)

Rachel was in charge of taking back everything back to Tgarden.

but all of us were busy shifting tables and chairs back to the places..
and if others needed hand we helped them to run cleaning sheet smoothly.

After Emma left at 12pm Ben took over the management job and he ran the sheet.

Thanks everyone for participating!

Runsheet in Action

Tuesday night for setup, our run sheet was finally put into action. Construction managed to finish building all of the stalls the night before, the dark space teams were making great progress and most of the large stalls where makers teams created their own structure were in place.

Once the furniture was all set up at 5pm teams started setting up their own individual stalls. Every hour Ben and I went around to all of the teams to make sure they were there on time, that they had all of the furniture they needed and if they needed anything else e.g technical cords etc.

Most teams stuck to their allotted times which was great and all in all it ran surprisingly smoothly.

Ben and I stuck around until 11pm along with the Market Board and other facilitators, in case any one needed anything and to help out.

1x Small table
4x white long table in the room

I will make sure
we return everything back to where it has been.

Week 10 Summary

Started a new furniture document with more details sent out to all team to do urgently

An urgent meeting was held on friday to discuss matters such as Capacity etc...

Furniture Moving

The day has finally come to set up for the market we started moving the furniture at 4pm, we asked for some people to come and give us a hand with this, we met in the Great Hall at 3.30pm to give everyone the rundown of how we had planned for it to work.

We had a mapped out plan for set-up, we aimed to fill the Great Hall from the West side to the East right through with the furniture. Ben was in charge of the chairs, Minjoo was in charge of other and I was in charge of the tables.

We asked that all pieces of furniture had a piece of masking tape which had the room number written on it, from where it had come from to make it easier for pack up. A couple of the Market Board helped out with this and took charge of taping all of the furniture in each room.

Ben took 5 of our helpers with him to get all of the chairs, they entered from the stairs closest to 10B12 and the rest we split in half for the tables, half went to 10B12 the other half to 11B05 and entered through the middle door of the Hall.

Everyone was shown where to take their furniture and Kim from Market Board helped to point out where each stall number was.

We managed to move all of the furniture within an hour and were very surprised with how smoothly it all went. Thanks to all of our great helpers.

Here is the link to the time lapse which captures the furniture moving, thanks to the Documentation team:

Below are the sheets we used when moving the furniture, these are what helped us to organise how many of each item stalls needed, the stalls are listed in an order according to the layout.

Furniture Finalised for each team/ Moving Plan

With the updated furniture list that has been sent away to RFM, I have updated each teams furniture requirements for tomorrow

I have also itemised the furniture and made a list of the teams specific to what they require, the list is ordered from the west side of the Great Hall and will be the order in which we move the furniture into each stall.

Furniture Moving Help

We have asked for some help to move the furniture, on the Facebook page and thanks to Jacob for setting up the event.

Final Runsheet

The final runsheet has been confirmed and has been sent out to all teams via internal comms through Stream, an email has been sent to everyone through Jo Bailey. The final runsheet can also be found on the Master Google Doc.

Final Runsheet

Furniture Order

Today was a busy day regarding furniture, we had an emergency meeting today regarding the construction of the stalls. We were able to use this time with the maker ambassadors to go over any last minute furniture issues, this included changing details such as 'standard chairs' and adding specifics to teams requests. We were also able to answer any questions regarding this.

Jen consolidated a list of furniture,

We were able to update this list throughout the meeting and afterwards with the makers. In the afternoon I met with Anna to submit the final Furniture Requests to RFM

Cleaning sheet process

6/10
1. Just a brief cleaning sheet layout
very vague timeline and the duty.

2. I've shortened the time on each section and indicated what teams should do what In the time slot.

3.Final!. I've added technical crew on the timetable and gave more time for people to clean
I've realized how tight the cleaning sheet was..
